Advanced Technology

The Level of the Accuracy has been enhanced in the PBSV 4.1 with the use of a real post-void residual formula. This patented calculation formula allows for a precise volume calculation below the normal limit of 25ml. This allows for calculations of even the smallest PVR.

Warranty Information

The PBS V4.1 Bladder Scanner comes with a 2 year warranty. If the PBS V4.1 is leased or joins your team through our 24 month 0% interest Program, PBS V4.1 is under warranty as long as you are on the program. Warranty includes telephone tech support and a loaner unit (a problem occurs).

What?

The BRS System provides Mechanical Bulbocavernosus Reflex Evaluation with Latency Time for the Assessment of Sacral Nerve Dysfunction.

Physical exam documents (present or absence) of reflex, not the important parameter how fast does it occur.
Basically a fast way to test if the patient has nerve damage causing the urological problem.

When?

This test takes about 3 mins. (prep – finish) and is a great first or second visit test that can be done by the medical assistant (no waste of the doctors time). It is a great test for a baseline before and after Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation.

Why?

OAB patients can be quickly assessed to show greater improvement with Pelvic floor rehab vs. medication. It helps to determine if greater stimulation could be beneficial for Retention patients. It also helps to inform the patient if longer treatment times should be expected due to nerve involvement. Insurance prefer to see a progression of tests instead of jumping directly into Urodynamic. (Less denials) Patients appreciate a less aggressive diagnostic approach compared to second visit Urodynamic.
